The “Under-the-Pillow” Book

Etti from the “Chesed Mexico” Organization in Mexico City came to one of my evening lecture two weeks ago in Mexico City. After the lecture, she told me that she is a social worker at one of the local hospitals. Because of the nature of her work, she is exposed to extreme stress. Each of the people under her care has a load of excess emotional baggage that ends up in her lap. She told me that she’d hit the pillow exhausted. Yet, her mental motor was still so much in overdrive that she couldn’t fall asleep.

Then she received a copy of 3 Words of Emuna. She read it once, then twice. Her stress and anxiety melted away. What’s more, she gave out copies of the book to her patients at the hospital. It helped them too.

Every time Etti feels her stress levels climbing, she reaches for for what she calls, “My under-the-pillow book.” That’s where she keeps her copy of 3 Words of Emuna. She reads a page or two, then falls asleep like a baby. It will work for you too.
